Data controller

Lucas canary, trading as OKHub, is the data controller for personal information processed through this marketplace. Contact Okiehub@gmail.com for privacy questions and requests.

Information and purposes

• Account names, emails, authentication information and account types: creating and securing accounts and sending necessary account emails.
• Client phone numbers, addresses, cities, regions and service requests: local matching and sharing inquiries with companies the client chooses.
• Business details, services, websites, photos and sourced public reviews: maintaining public directory profiles. Unclaimed listings use public business information.
• Messages and support correspondence: linked conversations and customer support.
• Membership and order references: managing subscriptions and verifying access.
• Technical records, including IP addresses, device/browser details and error or request logs processed by hosting services: website operation, security and reliability.

Legal bases

Account, inquiry, messaging and membership processing is necessary to perform our agreement with you. Security, necessary technical records, support and public directory information support legitimate interests in running a reliable marketplace. Some records are retained to meet legal obligations. Where optional processing requires consent, we obtain it and allow withdrawal.

Access and sharing

Other clients cannot view your private client profile. Companies can read client contact details only after the client chooses to link with them, and while the company has authorized access. Messages are available to linked participants. Company profiles, service photos and sourced ratings are public. A company that receives your details may retain them under its own privacy practices.

Recipients include hosting, storage, authentication and support providers, including Lovable Cloud; Google when applicable public business reviews are requested; Stripe for payments, subscription billing, fraud prevention, receipts and, where full compliance handling applies, tax compliance and transaction support; professional legal or accounting advisers; and authorities where required by law. Stripe’s privacy notice applies to its processing. We do not sell private contact details.

Retention

Account information, profiles and linked conversations are retained while needed to provide your account and marketplace services. Following account closure or a deletion request, data is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, except information required for legal obligations, disputes, fraud prevention or security. Backups and technical records may remain until the relevant provider’s retention cycle expires.

Security and international processing

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transport and account-based access controls. No system is completely secure. Providers may process information outside your location; applicable international-transfer safeguards must be used where legally required.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Email Okiehub@gmail.com; we may verify your identity and respond within applicable legal deadlines, including one month where GDPR applies. Businesses may request corrections or removal of unclaimed listings.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential storage supports sign-in, security and remembering invitation codes during signup. Payment providers may use storage necessary for checkout and fraud prevention. Clearing or blocking storage in your browser may prevent sign-in or checkout. This notice does not authorize optional advertising or tracking cookies; introducing them requires appropriate notice and consent controls.

Changes

We update this notice when practices change and communicate material changes as appropriate.
